It’s Christmas time again! The most widely celebrated season in the Christian calendar is just around the corner. Mince pies, Christmas caroling, the Nativity Play, and more feature this December in Saint Luke’s Church of Fontainebleau’s celebration of the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. St Luke’s welcomes all who want to celebrate this glorious season. Keep your eye on “Upcoming Events”. In the meantime, here is a sneak-preview of what is to come:

December 3, 10:30amNativity play rehearsal. The children and youth will take over the Chapel while the adults worship in one of the school classrooms.

December 10, 10:30amNativity play. A traditional telling of the Christmas story by our Children and Youth.  Not be be missed!

The Table Sale fundraiser for Les Amis will also take place on December 10. Buy your Mince Pies, Christmas wreaths, mulled wine, cards, and more here and support one of Les Amis’ wonderful charities.

December 17, 10:30amRegular Sunday Service

December 17, 18:30Evening Carol Service. (It’s not too late to join the choir!) The Carol Service promises to be a warm, cheerful, and moving evening of song and worship.

The Carol Service is also dedicated to raising funds for the 2017 Bishop’s Advent Appeal, which aims to support homeless refugees and asylum seekers in Rome with humanitarian assistance.

December 24, 10:30am“Christmas Eve in the Morning”. Since December 24th is a Sunday this year, the 10:30am service will also be the “Christmas Eve” service. (There will be no evening service on December 24.)

December 25, 10:30Christmas Day service. A celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
